The Edmonton Food Bank is a non-profit organization that started with two simple realizations: there were people in the community that were suffering from hunger and that food was being wasted in the community. Put two and two together and you can see the opportunity to change some things for the greater good. This Friday, Oct 31 was an opportunity to help feed the hungry in the city. |

Dr. Jerry E. Shepherd has been a guest speaker and Sunday School teacher at ECBC for the past two months since September 7th. During English congregation services, he has been preaching about the history of the Christian church from Old Testament times to the Reformation. |

In contribution to being stewards of God's creation, Melissa Duong (Leader of ECBC English Outreach Team) organized for ECBC to participate in helping Project Porchlight on Friday, October 24th to hand out light-bulbs to the surrounding Queen Mary community. After a quick presentation from our Project Porchlight leader, Lauren, we headed out for an hour to deliver the CFL bulbs. |
