Mission Team in Rae
God sent us to Rae because there are children starving, starving for the love of God. For the past 2 years my church, Edmonton Chinese Baptist Church (ECBC), has had the privilege of teaming up with the Tlicho Baptist Church in sharing God’s word with the Rae-Edzo Community. Every time we’ve gone, we have been welcomed with open arms by children who are desperate to experience the love that God has to offer them. We can see the need for followers of Christ to be within this community, committed to share His love. >>> Click for article |

The Andersons in Kentucky
So ... I feel bad that we haven't really communicated much with many of you since our big move down here. We have been excessively busy and overwhelmed trying to get unpacked, organized, and settled in.
But ... we also miss you guys all terribly. It was a very strange feeling sitting in church today, and not saying a word. Very different. I miss being a pastor; I miss being your pastor. >>> Click for Letter |

Surprise Benefit Concert for Tawa
The ECBC benefit concert on July 12, 2008 was definitely one for the history books. Just over two hours long, it was entertaining from beginning to end, as it started with Yolanda Leung's wonderful Rae mission video and great worship from the senior worship team with Blessed Be Your Name and This Is Your Time. It took a twist as Pastor Tawa Anderson quickly discovered through the recorded MC Mark Maney that the concert was in fact, partly... ok mostly, for him and his family. >>> Click for article |
