Pastor Dennis and Ardell have written their proposal and vision for Sherwood Park. It has been more than 30 years since we have seen the last successful english speaking multicultural church plant in the Edmonton, Alberta area. Over the last year God has been placing upon my heart the need for a strong church plant that would reach the Edmonton area.

The ECBC annual retreat is set to happen Labour Day long weekend. Our theme this year is Who Am I? and be prepared for great things to happen this year. For more information, check out the Facebook event for updates and 'attend'.
We are excited to let our church know that Tara Teng will be speaking at ECBC on August 7, who is Miss Canada 2011. Tara is a member of our CNBC affiliated Re:Generation church in Langley BC, where her father Terry Teng is the pastor. The CNBC, Westcoast Baptist Association, and our churches across Canada are supporting this effort as Tara uses her voice as Miss Canada to share her faith and to combat sin and injustice in our world on her Ignite the Road to Justice Tour.

Dear Church Family, It has been my joy and privilege to be the english pastor at Edmonton Chinese Baptist church for the last three years. Our church has displayed a strong desire to be on mission with God through outreach to family, friends and the Chinese community of Edmonton.
