What's Happening in July?

Art Walk 2009 - Today [Sun July 12] is the last day of the Art Walk on Whyte Avenue. Some of our ECBC artists have stands this year at the event and there is a street closure of the Ave between 103 and 105 St so be in for relaxing artful day! Art-walk.ca has a schedule of addition events happening.

Edmonton International Street Performers Festival - Today [Sun July 12] is also the last day of the 25th anniversary of the festival is presented this year as the Greatest Shoe on Earth. It's also the last day to enter their photo contest. Submit two photos of the last 25 years and win up to $250 for McBain Camera. Edmontonstreetfest.com

Edmonton's Capital Ex (July 17-26) - Today [Sun July 12] is the last day to enter to win a free all day package at capitalex.ca. There is no theme this year, but BBCs Walking With Dinosaurs is back in town and includes the $8 adult admission fee. July 16th is the last day for advance discount $38 all day passes. The website has a list of the rides and ticket values for those seeing if the price is worth it.

Rexall Edmonton Indy (July 24-26) - If you've got the stationary adrenaline (and the cash), the biggest race in town happens on Blatchford Field. Word on the street says that if you become part of their street team, you can win swag and tickets to the event at edmontonindy.com.
