Sunday is the Lord's Day - a day celebrated and commemorated by Christians as the day on which Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the source of our hope, our joy, and our salvation. So, on Sunday, the Church gathers together - to give God all of our gratitude and praise; to honor and glorify His name for all He has done; and to devote ourselves to His purpose and service.
At 9:15 on Sunday mornings, our congregation gathers in ECBC's sanctuary for corporate worship. We sing and pray to express our heartfelt adoration of God, and our hearts are changed as we hear from God through Bible reading and the preaching of His Word.
From 11-12, we move into various Sunday school classes for Bible study & spiritual discussions. Sunday school is a time for learning, questioning, and interaction - all intended to give us a better understanding of who God is and what He desires of us!
