Mission: Operation Christmas Child - Deadline Sunday Nov 23!!!

ECBC is once again raising efforts to the Samaritan's Purse campaign of Operation Christmas Child. The annual campaign brings shoeboxes of toys and stationery to kids in a affected area of the world. This year, some notable changes have been made to better serve the kids. The due date has been bumped up to November 23rd in order to meet the cargo demands of the Christmas season, and to bring the boxes to the kids by Christmas Day. In addition to the traditional method of creating your own personalized shoebox, ECBC is offering, for the first time, an option for the church to create the shoebox package for a $20 donation. This would cover everything including the shipping fee of $7 by the conventional method. Benefits of the new option is that the church would be able to purchase more supplies and toys in bulk, than a regular consumer would be able to with one shoebox.

If you wish to contribute to the ECBC efforts by the efficient option, please write a cheque of $20 to Edmonton Chinese Baptist Church with a note for Operation Christmas Child.
