Greg Idell Speaks at ECBC

Pastor Greg Idell from the University of Alberta's Chaplains' Association spoke at ECBC about God's Calling for everyone to salvation in a relationship with God, God's call for everyone who follows Him to be a blessing, and God's calling for some to lead. This Sunday, Idell also took the time to share his personal story with the English congregation. He will be at ECBC speaking and teaching Sunday school for the month of November.

Idell is the head of Baptist Student Ministries (BSM) and the pastor of the campus church The Bridge which meets Sunday nights in the basement of the Students' Union Building (SUB). He took over the ministry from Pastor Iskander Wajdi in 1997 when the office was in the Housing Units Building (HUB). There were 3 students in the campus group at the time. Today, BSM in Edmonton is affiliated with various churches in the city, has a house church, regular Bible Studies and groups, as well as chapters at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT), and at MacEwan University College.
