New Christian Small Group

From February 14 - 16, the New Christian Small Group went on a retreat to British Columbia. It was a weekend full of bruises, aches, hotness, and coolness. More specifically, everyone spent the first day at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort located at Golden, BC for a full day of skiing! Some were just learning and some were a bit more experienced. A whole day was spent traversing the lower part of the mountain. There was a gondola to bring vacationers to the peak, which had an incredible view of the surrounding area and offered a 10 kilometre trail down the mountain! The next day, half of the group travelled to Radium Hot Springs to aid in healing the pains of falling over and over and over and over again. The other half spent it again at Kicking Horse to more fully enjoy the different paths of mountain. To end things off, the group travelled down to Calgary to enjoy Dim Sum at U and Me restaurant on the last day. All in all, everyone had a wonderful time and came back alive.
